The World Library and Information Congress, 84th IFLA General Conference and Assembly, will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 24th-30th August 2018.
Library professionals from all over the world will gather during the congress to share experiences, to learn about the latest trends, and to discuss about future challenges and opportunities in the library field in a fast-changing world and constantly evolving society.
This year’s theme is “Transform Libraries. Transform Societies”. With Malaysia as the host country, the theme which highlights the role of libraries in the development of the nation takes on its full meaning. Malaysia is a country with rich and diverse culture and heritage, and with globalization, libraries are facing many challenges and opportunities in their mission of preserving cultural heritage and diversity while keeping up with the pace of the digital age.

The eScan Open System is a A3++ format book scanner which is fully configurable and was especially designed to meet the specific needs of libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions. The eScan Open System is made of several modules to be assembled according to user’s needs. With both the hardware and software being fully customizable, the eScan Open System is suitable for both self-service and production scanning.
The CopiBook Open System is the latest generation of the A2 format CopiBook range and has been developed to satisfy the most demanding users in terms of image quality, productivity and user-friendliness. Also designed as an “Open System”, the CopiBook OS is available with different cameras, different book cradle models and different software interfaces.
With image quality being one of our core priority, the CopiBook OS scanners are compliant with ISO 19264-1, Metamorfoze and FADGI standards.
The E-XTRA camera which was recently released embeds TrueColor technology and allows to produce images of 600 dpi optical resolution on A2 format, free of any Moiré pattern.
